Mine. Your. Our. Voice: for a strong we is a cooperation project between Handicap International and the three local organizations ArrivalAid (Munich), Diakonisches Werk (Freiburg) and Johannisstift Diakonie Proclusio gGmbH (Berlin).
to support and accompany refugees with disabilities and their relatives in setting up self-advocacy groups We also offer information events and psychosocial group activities . In this way, the project strengthens the self-determination and participation of refugees with disabilities and offers them a platform for exchange, information and support.
Our offer is free.
In Munich there are currently two self-representation groups that meet monthly- open to German and English-speaking persons.
What we offer:
Meet once a month with other people with a migration history and disability or chronic illness or with their relatives. Together we talk about topics that concern you: your everyday life, your rights, the German help system. We also take part in workshops and joint excursions.

Additional groups can be formed if necessary.
In our workshops you will learn practical methods to better deal with stress and discrimination. You will learn how you can strengthen and support yourself.
Participation in the workshops is also possible regardless of the group!
Next workshop term:
- Workshop „Was ich mir wünsche“
Was wünschst du dir für dein Leben? Was möchtest du erreichen?
Warum mitmachen?
