We support refugees in coping with everyday life that is becoming increasingly digital and becoming digitally fit
In our DigitalAid , volunteer coaches support refugees in coping with their increasingly digital everyday lives. They support refugees with specific digital problems and help them individually and in a needs-oriented manner to get to grips with devices and software more independently.
DigitalAid coaching
DigitalAid coaching can support the following digital challenges :
- Communication via email, e.g. with an office
- Zoom and other video communication tools
- Online job platforms
- Make online appointments with offices
- Use of search engines
- Use of language learning apps
- Use of home schooling programs and learning portals
- Optimization of the use of digital devices
- Backup important data
- Sending PDFs
The aim of DigitalAid coaching is for the people being coached to find their way around everyday life a little more independently.
This is how you can support us as a volunteer DigitalAid coach
- Complete the registration form by clicking “Apply Now” at the bottom of this page.
- After receiving your application, we will arrange a phone call with you to get to know you better.
- We will then invite you to the appropriate introductory training course.
- Open and communicative manner in dealing with people from different cultures.
- Time and motivation for a commitment of around 4 hours per month for around 1 year.
- Advanced knowledge of German.
- Entry level training

- Exchange with other volunteers
- Certificate of volunteer work
