The Akademie is aimed at people with a refugee background and people who want to support them. In addition to the focus on work and residence, we offer interesting workshops on cultural and political topics and practical tips for life in Germany. The Akademie takes place at different locations.
Important information about Akademie

Some of the training courses, which are primarily aimed at helpers, are part of the BasicTraining , a cooperation between various Munich educational providers in the area of integration. With the associated module pass, participants can have their participation in training documented and then receive a certificate.

QiGong, meditation, mindful yoga and stress management exercises
Saturday, 7th December 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
Speaker: Hanna Wolter-Henkel, QiGong teacher and alternative practitioner
It is particularly important for people who do voluntary work to always take good care of themselves.
Otherwise there is a risk of becoming overwhelmed, losing yourself or being overwhelmed by the suffering of others.
Stressful brooding, insomnia, restlessness and joylessness can be the result.
Volunteers are often in direct contact with painful experiences and do real work from the heart.
This makes self-care all the more important. On this day we want to experience gentle stretches, short breathing meditations, relaxation while lying down, body scan, QiGong, exchange and silence.
Then we feel our body again, relax a little more, recharge our batteries and can marvel at the wonders of life again.
This gives us a little more confidence and strength for volunteer work.
